Het hele design van de Acer TravelMate 6293 is afgestemd op de ambitie van Acer om de balans te vinden tussen ultradraagbare prestaties en optimale efficiency. Deze balans wordt bereikt met een lichtgewicht notebook met een geïntegreerde optische drive. Met zijn gewicht van nog geen 2 kilo komt de Acer TravelMate 6293 volledig tegemoet aan de eisen van zeer mobiele zakelijke gebruikers en dynamische bedrijven. Maar er worden tegelijkertijd geen compromissen gesloten met betrekking tot het gebruik van de notebook op een bureau: het Acer ezDock II-dockingstation zorgt voor optimaal gebruiksgemak wanneer u niet onderweg bent.
